★ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: Hiyori is a Japanese young man of 18 years, slightly tall at 5'10". His 140 pounds are distributed as muscle that's so lean he obviously cultivated his physique in an organized athletic activity, most likely swimming or basketball, instead of doing a day's hard labor in his life. This conclusion is supported by his even suntan and the complete lack of notable scarring or callusing on his body. Hiyori has a mildly square face; he wears glasses that are likewise almost square in the frames. He has brown hair and eyes.
♚ FASHION: Hipstery. Big jackets. Earth tones and blues.
♚ DEMEANOUR: Hiyori consistently tries to smile and be polite. He stands up straight and offers to pick up bags for people. Much of the time others get the impression that Hiyori is condescending and insincere. They're not exactly wrong.
♚ SOUND: His Japanese voice actor is Ryohei Kimura and his English voice actor is Justin Liebrecht. He speaks the standard Tokyo dialect of Japanese. Hiyori lived in the United States for eleven years and speaks English with a Californian accent. He generally speaks with a deliberately pleasant voice.
♚ SCENT: Salt. No, I'm joking. Chlorine, coffee, some kind of sea breeze shampoo.
♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: Nothing of note.
♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: Nothing of note. Hiyori is a completely ordinary human.

★ OOC

♚ BACKTAGGING: Due to the duration of the game, please be aware that I will be freezing threads liberally. Most notably during the investigation and trial I may not do any other tags. Such freezes may also occur at earlier stages, such as dropping pre-motive tags during a motive reaction thread, depending on rate of activity. After the high activity period has passed, you can always ask me to unfreeze the earlier thread. I am also always here for starting new threads that occurred in old prompts, as long as the new thread would still be the chronologically latest thread for the involved characters.
♚ FOURTHWALLING: Please do not directly inform Hiyori that he is a fictional character. However, if you think it would be possible for your character to already have information about Hiyori, please contact me and I am willing to work out a plotline where your character acts on that knowledge without directly informing him.
♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Please check-in with me for any type of hug or kiss. I am virtually guaranteed to say yes; I just really like to know first. Anything less pervasive is fine to implement spontaneously. Hiyori generally accepts physical affection in a polite stiff manner. Egregious affection, a "glomp" for example, could get a more gruff reaction.
♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: If Hiyori says a dubious thing, you have free reign to immediately give him one (1) punch or slap without consulting me. To continue a beating, or initiate a beating outside an obvious immediate provocation, please contact me so we can work it out. He is the type of guy who can take a punch and laugh bitterly "wow, you sure are serious right now!" On the other hand he has some physical strength with which to retaliate.
♚ RELATIONSHIPS: If you would like your character to develop a crush on Hiyori, by all means contact me to work something out. Hiyori is already enamored with his best friend Ikuya; it is not a possibility for him to develop new romantic feelings that come to fruition during the mock week. That said, please don't use the phrase "single target sexuality" in relation to this character. Rather, Hiyori is a gay man who has been in love with one person for several years.

♚ CONTENT: Hiyori's storyline touches on mild elements of emotional manipulation and child mistreatment.
♚ SPOILERS: Hiyori's canon point is the end of season 3 episode 6. Due to the pressing situation in 15S, any specific element of the canon timeline should be completely avoidable if necessary.
